A fantasy novel about a boy named Ryde (pronounce as 'Ry-Dee') who was born without wings in a world where everyone else has. His birth brings tragedy to the birth place which marks the beginning of a strong belief on an old prophecy of an ill-omened boy, caused him to be alienated his whole life. Until one day, he discovers a sign that he might actually is someone important out there and with supports from his friends, he left his place to unfold the truth, embarking on a journey to find his true self...
